About the event
The VSAE Hackathon is the newest addition to our Analytics Academy pillar. Formed in early 2026, this brand-new initiative offers students a platform to apply their quantitative and econometric skills to Hackathon challenges. Because it is a fresh concept, there is plenty of room for your creative, entrepreneurial ideas to shape it. We are gearing up for our first ever event in April 2027 and are actively exploring partnerships with top companies, associations, and labs to deliver a high-energy case designed to challenge and inspire the econometrics, actuarial science and business analytics students of UvA!

- Sourcing and securing potential partners
- Brainstorming and developing event concepts from the ground up
- Managing Hackathon planning and logistics
- Hosting the live challenge
