The Inhouse Experience 2023

This year's in-house experience was one of the most interesting and opportunity-filled events of this year.

It was a longer event ranging from the beginning of March until the middle of May. The Experience consisted of visits to 7 different companies: NN, IG&H, Deloitte, IMC, PwC, WTW and CM.com. These are all consultancy and advisory firms that are especially interesting to us, Econometrics, Actuarial Science and Business Analytics students. The company visits were always interesting and fulfilling. We got to know how it is working at these firms, what is the atmosphere and tried a case study at each of them. The best teams received points. At the end students with most points got new earphones, a Garmin watch and a JBL speaker.

This event helped students to decide which direction they would like to pursue further in their studies and introduced the multiple different career possibilities. I want to thank the best coordinators I could have asked for- Randy Griekspoor and Sven Geerlings as well as my amazing team- Preetika Nair and Hubert Perlinski. I am glad that I was part of such a nice team and organised such an educational event.
