The Experience 2019

Are you currently in the third year of your Bachelor or in your Master and are you still not sure where or in which sector you want to work after you’ve completed your studies? You are definitely not alone, there are many students facing this problem. So, no worries, we are here to rescue you!

The 25th of April, the 10th and the 13th of May the VSAE organises The Experience! During the Experience you get the chance to meet 4 different companies, each representing a different field of Actuarial Sciences or Econometrics.  Unlike career-events like de Beroependagen or The National Econometricians Day we will visit the participating companies inhouse. This will give you the opportunity to experience the actual atmosphere at a company instead of being told about it during a presentation. On top of this, you can win several prizes.

As committee we are very proud to announce the 4 participating companies:

• 25th of April (morning): Willis Towers Watson 

• 25th of April (afternoon): KLM 

• 10th of May (morning): IMC 

• 13th of May (afternoon): KPMG

Are you only interested or able to visit 1, 2 or 3 companies? No problem! During this year’s edition it is possible to sign up for each company separately. You will have to upload your anonymised resume. Each of the participating companies will select their top-20 students who will attend the visit.

Last but not least, you can win awesome prizes! During the visits you will be working on a case or something similar. Companies will give out points the winning groups, and to the best individuals. At the end, the individuals with the highest amount of points can win awesome prizes.
