Analytics Academy | Kick-Off

The first round of the Analytics Academy will soon begin! When you join the Analytics Academy you will work in a group of four students on a case for a non-profit organisation. These non-profits will provide you with a real problem and their available data. From October till December you will work approximately 3-4 hours per week on the case, ending in an evening where the different groups present their findings in a presentation to the companies. The Analytics Academy is a unique opportunity to start bringing your theoretical skills into practice in a way that will not only be fun but will also teach you a lot!

If you want to know more, we have organised an evening where the companies will shortly present their cases and participants from last year will share their experiences. Afterwards we will all have (free!!) drinks and you can ask the companies and students from last years Analytics Academy some questions. This Analytics Academy Kick-off will take place on Monday the 25th of September from 17:00.

This evening is only to show you what the Analytics Academy is about, even if you are not interested in joining this round, but want to orientate for the next round (Feb-May) you are welcome to join the evening. Hope to see you there!

Note: To join the Analytics Academy you have to be a 2nd years or higher Econometrics, Actuarial Science or Business Analytics student, and a member of the VSAE.
