Who are you?
You enjoy solving complex problems using mathematics and statistics, while being able to understand the limitations and implications of your solutions, as well as understanding the business needs. Building financial models is your talent and you are able to make and substantiate appropriate assumptions and methodology while building a model. You are able to interpret the outcomes of the financial models to clients.
Get to know our team
The Deloitte Financial Risk Management Inhouseday presents you the opportunity to show your capabilities and meet our team. During that day, you will be exposed to an acquisition case, based on an actual project performed by the team. During the case you can experience how to communicate with stakeholders of financial institutions such as banks and insurers.
During the Inhouseday you will act as a consultant within the Financial Risk Management team to show your ability in analyzing and describing the risks involved. You are asked by the CEO to assess the embedded risks after the acquisition has taken a place. The potential targets identified for the acquisition are exposed to both credit and insurance risks. You will be provided with all tools needed to estimate the risks involved due to the acquisition. At the end of the case you will present your results to the executive board of the client and give your advice which target is the best strategical fit.
After deciding the winner of the case, we will have drinks to get to know each other better.
Application
Students who are at the final phase of their bachelor or master Econometrics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, Physics, Industrial Engineering, Economics, are applicable to register for this event.
