For the 5th year in a row, the Amsterdam School of Economics (ASE) and the student associations SEFA and VSAE organise ASE NEXT!

This exclusive event for students, alumni and staff of the Amsterdam School of Economics, boasts inspiring alumni speakers from different industries and a keynote speech by the Dutch Minister of Social Affairs and Employment, Wouter Koolmees.

Learn from the best
On this evening, 5 alumni from various industries (Entrepreneurship, Banking, the Public Sector and the Private sector) will give their insights about entering the job market. They will share the wins and failures of their careers. There will also be a Q&A session for you to ask them what you like. Additionally, there will be a Q&A session for Wouter Koolmees too.
After the speeches and questions you will have the possibility to network and drink with your (former) classmates. Alumni speakers will be announced soon.

The keynote speech

After obtaining his degree in Social and Institutional Economy at Utrecht University, Wouter Koolmees worked as a consultant and researcher at the Netherlands Economic Institute (now Ecorys), in Rotterdam. Since then, he held various positions at the Ministry of Finance, including Deputy Head of Policy Preparation at the National Finance Inspectorate. He became a member of D66 and entered the Dutch parliament. On 1 November 2019, the King charged him with the status of Minister of Social Affairs and Employment, and Deputy Prime Minister.
