The organization consists of a team of professionals that structures, manages, invests and administers the assets for three client groups related to the Brenninkmeijer family: 1. private clients, 2. charitable organizations and 3. pension funds. Who are you

You are at the end of your bachelor phase or in your master phase. You are a team player,  ambitious and have strong interest in financial markets and investment management.  You have affinity with data analytics, designing and implementation of analytical tools. Familiarity with programming in VBA and /or Python is an advantage.

The Role

The work is focused on the non-listed investment portfolios of AFAM, supporting the Private Equity and Real Estate teams. The role offers exposure to a great variety of tasks within managing an investment portfolio of non-listed investments. What is more, the role will provide a look into the kitchen of very experienced and seasoned investment professionals with excellent track records. You will be part of a young, energetic, multicultural and growing team.

As working student for the Investment Analytical Service team (IAS), you will support the investment analysts for minimal two days a week. You will work on different investment related analysis across a great variety of non-listed investment classes and strategies.  Next to ‘business as usual support’ and Ad Hoc support, the working student will work on specific subjects:

  1. Private Equity related investment analysis: structure and analyze the operational metrics data set of companies  in the private equity portfolio. This data is of vital importance for the Private Equity  team to get insights in the value drivers and the overall characteristics of the portfolio.
  2. Data control and analysis of risk exposures, inventorization and analysis of underlying investments of the non-listed investment portfolios.
  3. Support in monitoring and assessment of portfolios along Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) attributes and metrics.
